HABSHAN & BAB

INTRODUCTION

About Habshan & Bab

1. HABSHAN is located some 200 km west of Abu Dhabi. It is an arid desert and the climate is bit severe in summer and winter like any other place in the Emirates. Road from Abu Dhabi to Tarif is asphalted, wide and multi-laned, while the one from Tarif to HABSHAN is single track. The traffic in these roads is not heavy. Still care is required not to over speed. Radar has been installed to record the over speeding vehicles. The objective is to minimize any likely accidents.

Though HABSHAN looks very placid and calm, it has also its share of deadly creatures which are mostly seasonal like scorpion, snakes etc. Therefore shoes should be worn when going around in the darkness and slippers avoided.
